This page helps you identify the right tool, handle common issues, and know what information to provide when contacting CookPDF.

Choose the right tool

Convert: switch between PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, images, and MHTML.
Edit: edit content, fill forms, sign, rotate, crop, or add elements to a PDF.
Organize: merge, split, reorder, delete, or extract pages.
Optimize: reduce file size and recheck file quality.
Protect: set a password, unlock when you have permission, or flatten a PDF.
AI PDF: ask questions, summarize, translate, or generate questions using the third-party AI service provider used by CookPDF.

File won't upload or processing is interrupted

Check the format and limits shown in the tool.
Close some tabs if your device is low on memory, especially with large PDFs.
Try again on an up-to-date browser version and make sure JavaScript is enabled.
Keep the original file until you have opened and checked the output file.

Cache, autosave, and session recovery

Standard PDF tools may store files and working state in the browser's local storage. If there is a recent session, the interface will let you recover it or start over. Deleting website data, using private mode, or letting the browser clean up memory on its own may lose the session.

Using AI features

When you actively run an AI task, the necessary data is sent to the third-party AI service provider used by CookPDF. Results may be missing or have wrong context; cross-check proper names, figures, conditions, and conclusions against the source PDF.

Accounts, plans, and payments

Current benefits, limits, cycles, and prices are shown in the tool, on the plans page, or at the checkout step. Payments are processed through PayPal or Airwallex.

Contact support

Email support@cookpdf.io and state the URL, browser, device, the steps that caused the error, and the message you saw. Do not send passwords, card information, or sensitive documents via email.
