This policy explains how CookPDF uses cookies, browser storage, and similar technology. CookPDF does not publish a fixed list of cookie names because names and durations may change depending on the function, browser, and provider in use.

Cookies are small pieces of data that a website stores in the browser. CookPDF may also use local storage, session storage, IndexedDB, or cache memory to maintain state and support on-device file processing.

2. Purposes of use

Maintain the access or login session.
Remember language and interface preferences.
Protect the website, detect errors, and limit abuse.
Save task state, cache, autosave, and recover the most recent session.
Support the payment process when the user chooses PayPal or Airwallex.

3. File data in the browser

Standard PDF tools process files directly on your device. Files or related state may be stored in browser memory to complete the task and recover your work. This does not mean files are uploaded to CookPDF servers.

You can delete the session or files in the interface where that function is provided. You can also delete cookies and CookPDF website data in your browser settings. Doing so may log you out of your account, remove your language preference, and remove recovery data.

4. Third-party services

When you use payment or integrated features, PayPal, Airwallex, or the relevant provider may use their own cookies and technology to operate functions, security, and fraud prevention. Data on their interfaces is subject to that provider's own policies.

5. Managing browser data

Most browsers let you view, block, or delete cookies and website data. Blocking all necessary data may prevent login, session recovery, or some functions from working correctly. CookPDF does not currently claim to use cookies for personalized advertising or to track you across websites not belonging to CookPDF.

6. Changes to the policy

CookPDF may update the policy as functions or providers change. The update date is shown at the top of the page. Questions about cookies and privacy can be sent to legal@cookpdf.io.
