Also, personnel not assigned to Airborne units or roles requiring parachute training do not need to complete this form.
The deadline for DA Form 1307 is immediate after each jump. Entries must be recorded using the Digital Training Management System (DTMS) or manually, and they should be validated by a jumpmaster using DA Form 1306.
For award processing, this form is necessary before submitting documentation for parachutist badges, including Basic, Senior, and Master. Additionally, it must be maintained in the soldier’s personnel file indefinitely, even after separation.
